​Dana Point Analytics was founded in 2015 by Dr. Michael May. Dr. May spent over a decade evaluating technologies in the defense and aerospace sector before bringing his talents to Orange County, CA. Through DPA, he makes his insights, and those of the DPA network of consultants, available to industry and individual investors.

Dr. May has a Ph.D. in physics from Johns Hopkins University and has built a strong DPA network of experts in the fields of optics, wireless communications, material science, artificial intelligence, software production, cyber-security, and information sciences.

DPA also performs a range of pro-bono work including advocacy for STEM education and advisory services to start up companies.
